Live Performances

In the Air Tonight
Our Story
Ever since singer and drummer Robert Adams saw Phil Collins live in 1990 on the "Serious Hits Live" Tour, and then Genesis on the field at Dodger Stadium on the "We Can't Dance" Tour in 1992, he was hooked! Not only did he love the music, but he knew someday he would be playing those songs live! Full Collins USA pays tribute to the music of Phil Collins in both Genesis and his extensive solo career. We emulate every detail, including his iconic dual drum performances. Our setlist includes all the hits, including music from former Genesis members Peter Gabriel and Mike Rutherford (Mike+The Mechanics). Full Collins shows play nothing but the hits... Seriously!

Robert has a long career of performing in San Diego, as well as nationally. Originally from the Los Angeles area of Southern California, Robert started as a drummer and lead singer in a high school band called "Alliance". After college, he moved to San Diego and in 1993, become the lead vocalist and guitarist for a Top 40 cover band called "Steal Dawn". Robert still performs with Steal Dawn. Besides Steal Dawn, he performed for 9 years with Matchbox Twenty Too (a tribute to Matchbox 20 as lead singer Rob Thomas), and started two other tribute bands: Summer of 1969 (as lead singer and guitarist Bryan Adams) and Kisstroyer USA (as drummer and singer Peter Criss). In Full Collins, he sings lead vocals, plays keyboards, and drums on several key songs. Robert has written and recorded 5 original albums (one with the band Steal Dawn, two solo rock albums, a solo Christian album, and recently released a solo Country Rock album).

Robert is joined by three talented musicians that also worked together as members of Matchbox Twenty Too.

Handling all the guitar work as Mike Rutherford is Tyler Page. Originally from the Bay Area, Tyler began performing as a teenager playing classic rock covers. He spent his college years performing with his original indie rock band "The Feds", which resulted in an opening performance for Chance the Rapper at SDSU’s open air theater.

On the bass guitar as Daryl Stuermer is Mark Cummings. Mark was born and raised in Southern California and has been playing bass professionally for over 30 years. He studied music theory at Riverside Community College and specializes in most genres, including: rock, pop, reggae, country and blues. He is also an original member of California ska legends The Skeletones. He has toured internationally and has shared the stage with such luminaries as: Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Misfits, Iggy Pop, Smash Mouth, No Doubt, Sublime, Blink-182, Jefferson Starship and Steel Pulse to name a few. His discography includes fourteen full-length studio albums and numerous compilations.

Playing the role of Chester Thompson on the drums is Ivan Ferreira.
